Though......
The B.52's - '53 miles west of venus' is Techno (in a blissfull, funky, dreamlike 'Model 500' kinda way).

Pet Shop Boys can be excrutiatingly 'danceable' .....too.!
Barbados or the Burn this year.?????? !!!!!!!
Quite sure your camp will have a fantastic little atmosphere. Nice one.

Fuck!......Just noticed Front 242 on your playlist too.
Longshot! But, I dont suppose you are going to broaden our minds with other EBM/New Beat???????
Shit.....that would really put the cherry on the top of your already delectable cake.
THAT WOULD BE A TRULY UNIQUE HARDCORE 80's 'MIX' demonstrating the funky sluttyness, acidity and debauchery of that era. That would sound sooooooo good if done well. Thinking Adam and the Ants and Lords of Acid now.......Hmmmmm, its doable. Fuck!!!!!!
OMG.......Hey, anyone out there who 'knows' Belgium New Beat, do you see how outrageous this could be? .....Blondie and Tragic Error. Billy Idol and Ro Moron......tough little mixes but, reckon it could rip a dancefloor in two in 'that way'....... Thats not a genre' !!!
Evolution this year right?
80's camp.Thankyou.

I think it would "more in the spirity of Burningman" (puke) if someone was to collect all the weird vinyl, cassette tapes and whatever of garage band auditions and the like. Too Crappy for Real Life camp.
Yes, it's a doacracy and my suggesting it means I get to do it. Sorry, I'm just not that into the whole thing; although I would think it was cool if someone did it.

When I saw 80's in the title I immediately thought "All right! Disco!" Then I remembered that was the 70's...*sob*

So, what planet had my 80s dance camp strayed to? We had a pretty serious search on Venus, but didn't find it. So good of you to return it. I was so worried.

Crypto,
You aren't (really) old enough to remember the real 80s! and the closest thing to an 80s dance camp at BM is Verboten, and they are not really an 80s camp?
Now, I have tons of 80s (and 90s) dance music on MP3s, and videos' hopefully they will all be on my "new" iPod for BM. And I would be happy to help out nice 80s camps!

80s
This will be the last message before the event as we're getting all packed up and ready to go.
One small change: DJ Trey won't be able to spin Monday night, so it will be just Willow and Xfile on Monday.
Looking forward to seeing you 80s music fans on the playa!
We'll be right on the 9-oclock plaza, on the corner of Biology on the 8:30 - 9:00 section. You can't miss us, we have a 40ft long wall that says "Planet Earth", along with Music Videos, lights and of course, 80s dance music.
See you soon!

I want to thank everyone who came out to Planet Earth this year on the 9:00 Plaza.
We had a great first year on the playa, above and beyond expectations!
We hope to see you again next year for another year of 80s dance tunes!

Patamon,
Thank you and your crew for providing fresh and different music on the playa! My camp came by and danced our butt off two or three times during the week, and we were much appreciative to hear something besides the unTZ unTZ unTZ.
The New Wave evening was pretty entertaining, but as my partner William told me, even in the 80s, they couldn't dance to a few of the tunes we heard (just a little bit too slow).
I'm already looking forward to next year!
