Simon, I thought you'd get a kick out of the robot presenting the drink. :D

I already chose all the options and this was the drink it offered.

Here is your cocktail, Master:

(Click on any ingredient for definition and substitutions.)

Bush Published Swell Cocktail

Chill cocktail glass. Prepare as follows:

In pre-chilled cocktail shaker combine

1¾ oz Armagnac
1 oz Port
¾ oz Venezuelan Rum
2 dashes strawberry-flavored liqueur
Oscillate at 60hz with lumps of ice for fifteen seconds.

Strain into chilled cocktail glass.

I thought the strawberry liqueur was a nice touch!

WTF ....OK you guys can hide but I will find you.

Jonestown Punch

The inspiration behind this diabolical concoction is the Jonestown Massacre AKA Guyana Tragedy. Cult leader Jim Jones instructed his brainwashed followers to embark on a mass-suicide, by drinking grape Flavor-Aid laced with cyanide. Later that day, after most of his worshipers had died, Jones shot himself in the head.

1 gallon prepared Kool-Aid® Grape mix
12 oz Amadeus® almond liqueur
16 oz Devil Springs® vodka

Pour all ingredients into punch bowl. Add ice. Stir.

Hey Mozy;

Not a big fan of suicide by KoolAid nor suicide by shotgun. But that's just me.

Baby RJ and I took a limping stroller ride to Walgreen's this morning.
It was great getting out of the house. I bought him another toy...a butterfly
that plays 18 tunes and each wing has blinky lights that flash when the
tunes play!!! He LOVES it!!! Wheeee!!!! :P

I'm bringing Mozy's quote over here from the FUCK thread...

for over 20 years i have worn a ring, the mayan calender....i only took it off once, while in lovelock, on my extended vacation.

they had to cut it off, my knuckles have grown as a result of my increasing loss of cartilage.

i creak and groan like a xylaphone, but at least i always have accompaniment for the song in my head...

"dem bones dem bones''...you know the rest..

so, we deliver, you wanted to know the secret of my ring, but you already knew it...

well, mozy et al, if i could be so bold as to offer a suggestion, since i actually am somewhat of a tee-totaler most of the year, and i reserve my shitface antics for the real playa, how about something different for once, and i know that there are those that watch, but fuck em' if they can't take the joke...

Hey everyone. Just stopped in for a cold one, PBR please.

I cut my beard off today, but kept the moustache. It's just been to hot to keep a full beard going...It'll grow back...

Saw the Potter movie yesterday afternoon, no spoilers today. Great flick. A bargain matinee is a good way to beat the heat.

I bought a big pot at the Goodwill yesterday for $3.98, used it to soak my feet last night. Great way to cool down... I found a metal tent pole set at the other thrift store, $3.50, and a plastic conical christmas tree stand with anchor holes to use as an umbrella stand for $1.00.

I pick up two bags of groceries from Gleaners tomorrow. My food stamps were up to $200/ month this month. ( I mostly buy canned goods.) I had my interveiw a couple of weeks ago, I have to reapply every 3 months. I have not heard yet if I'm renewed for August to October. I got enough food now for the burner week.

I got all my gear together. All the stuff from last year. Got some new free rugs this year from craigslisters for my camp, bike parts and tires to give away. I'm leaving my front passenger seat open for a hitchhiker/burner this year.

No kool-aid for me, thank you very much. When I was a kid at vacation bible school we got unsweeted red water and stale cookies for snacks. Bad connection for me.

Another PBR? Sure, boy is it hot...

I got $1,500.00 left from selling my harley. $100 set aside for gas, $500 set aside for property tax. That gives me $900 for next winter. If I can keep my monthly expences down to $100 that will see me thru till March. Time for a yard sale when I get back on September 8th. Maybe I should sell that old RV too. I just use it for storage. It needs a new house waterpump and waterheater unit, but it runs. Needs servicing and maybe brakes too. Maybe I should just give it away, then I would not have to keep it insured... Nah. It must be worth something to somebody.

Another PBR? Sure...

At least I got my health. My shoulder still gets twinges if I move it overhead, I took a fall last month, remember. I fell down in the chow line at the city picnic by stepping in a hole. Very embarrassing...I might try the swimming pool tomorrow afternoon. 50 cents from 6pm till 8pm. Just to cool down. Maybe I need to exercise my arm...

Well, this old man Has got to go...Don't want to wear out my welcome...It's just I need to talk sometimes...Thanks for the beers, and your time.

Wow. Catching up while baby takes a nap. Sounds like everyone is having an awesome day. Rock on, everybody! Lovin' the recipe for the yogurt shake, Mozy. Washed down the bike and placed frogger stickers all over the dings. Put a couple of smiley faces on it too. I think it's playa-ready now. hee hee. I feel a bit better now about the bike. Gonna go swimming when baby wakes up. (please don't poo in the pool this time, okay?)
