free/trade listings for burners hosted on bm.com
living in the sfbay area and being a burner i tend to use craigslist quite often. being on eplaya looking at this forum i see quite a fiew things in this section that could be organized in a maner similar to how craigslist is fassioned.
there would be much greater succes in the sharing of resources if this section was reformated to work in a hybrid of forum/craigslist. this section would allow of postings of free items, trades and also ideas. it could be as simple as adding an option for stating weather that resource is available or expired, to as complicated as a craigslist type for trades.
i am proposing that we host a trade/forum area for things burners have/want to help give away.
if this is voted yes then discussion could thence progress as to how this section would be formated/operated. this vote is simply asking weather the mass feels this is a good idea to be suported by bm

i am not sugesting commerce i am suggesting trade. by supporting trade here it would create less commerce elsewhere like on craigslist and other places. it would help burners understand how to trade instead of using commerse and would greatly enhance the capabilities of our comunity
we are a comunity of gifting and i know that if we came apon a good format or idea for how we would organize a thing like this there would probably be many volunteers who know how to program that would donate their programing for a simple thing like this. craigslist is much more complicated than i am recomending and it is a free website with no advertisement it is largely a donation of effert put to geather for the comunity
i dont see why burners are not capable of doing this for themselvs.

Might some propose that if you have a good idea and a clear vision of something needing to be added to (or changed) that you step up to the plate and make those changes which you seek?living in the sfbay area and being a burner i tend to use craigslist quite often. being on eplaya looking at this forum i see quite a fiew things in this section that could be organized in a maner similar to how craigslist is fassioned.

the one with the vision doesnt always have the ability to do. that is why we have workers and philosophers, engeneers, and builders. there are those who propose change and those who accept change and make it become real. the people who propose the change often times get to much credit and are thense hated on by those who often do the work themselvs. but the ones who do the actual work would never have thought of doing it without the insite of someone to show them what to do. i dont know how to program websites but i do know that a comunity of people who want to share would greatly win by being more capable of sharing. they would also be more capable of pasing the knowlege that sharing is a capable idea and more capable of pasing this idea to people who are outside of the culture.
