On August 16, 2005 while scuba diving in the Florida Keys, a boat propeller struck both of my legs. I was sent to the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami where I underwent three surgeries, and I lost both of my legs from the calf down. I spent about two weeks in the hospital and returned home to undergo rehabilitation. My rehabilitation has been tough, but I have been given every opportunity possible.

In 2007, I graduated from the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I was a member of the golf and bowling teams, and one of my goals in rehabilitation was to rejoin my teammates for my senior year. I am happy to report that we had a successful golf season, and it’s great to be back playing golf. I have just started my sophomore year at the College of Charleston, and I am excited to be a “Cougar.â€

You mean being a berkeleyite or the cranky 14,000 post posters club?

Sorry.
Not my intent.
It won't let me edit now.
I never did understand that 60 minute limit.
Takes me that long to find typos.
