New Burner from Winnipeg, Manitoba

It's 2721 Km (1690 mi) from Winnipeg to Black Rock, and I'm driving. Anyone want to split the gas?

Herzlich Wellkommen!! Winnipeg, along with Calgary, Saskatoon, and Edmonton are some places I'd like to see.

Hey fellow winnipegger, Nice to see another.
We are planning to fly down to SF before the event, but its good to know someone is planning on driving. Are you driving by yourself?

Good luck with the drive-- I'm headed down from Regina. My first time as well. Does it make us more hardcore because we're willing to go so far?

You're willing to go that far because you're hardcore.

But it's only 2100 kilometres to Winnipeg.
How far is Regina?

Perhaps my North American geography is a bit skewed (it just feels real far) but I guess it's not like we're from New Brunswick.
