Morning PM. Have the same trouble getting up too early. May have something to do with having a bit too many birthdays. That's the downside. On the other hand, lots of birthdays mean your still looking at the grass (both kinds) from the right side and you get one more year on the Playa.
WB, I'll have a cup of that Mona and sit down at the mahogany bench in the corner with whomever else will have me for a snuggle and a bit of warmth.
Hey PM, we're in cycle ----- during my insomniac episode in the wee hours last night, I actually cleaned up my desk and home office. Wife came in my office this morning, took one look and fainted dead away!
Time for that cuppa joe, WB

Hey, WB that is something to look forward to in our camp in August. With the same eyes, you'll find that I look like a cross between Hugh Grant and Tyrone Power when I first wake up. Yeah, right! (Do any of you remember Tyrone Power???)

Wish I could find a much smaller version of this dog head. I want to make my tube subwoofer project into a dachshund. Cut some wood with a friend's table saw last weekend, so I have some better fitting parts. Going to see Avatar this morning in IMAX 3D, saw it last week in 3d, great... but I want more BOOM BOOM BOOM! Also it will be a chance to compare the 3D systems, saw it with Dolby glasses last weekend, and my local has something different, realD or something. Wonder if it makes any difference.

Late morning all. Mona was exceptional this morning. I noticed that I had the strength setting on strong. I must have switched it when I reset the number of cups last night. Too bad we stayed up so late last night - the weather is beautiful for snowshoeing today. Tonight we dress up black tie formal. We do it once a year for the Robert Burns Celebration. I'll be wearing my dress kilt.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

PM, nocturnal peeing seems to be a side effect of aging. It is inexorable.
Anyone interested, I have a diet that I call my "chicken and banana" diet. I lost about 12 pounds in a month on it and have stabilized at my new weight now for about 6 weeks with no feeling of food deprivation. Back at what I weighed in college over a half a century ago. Let me know and I will send it to you.
WB, where did you dig up that Tyrone Power photo. Dynamite! I don't even look that good in my best dreams, altho' my lovely tells me that I do. I guess that love is truly blind. A blessing

hey there everyone....
I've been without power for two days......dang.....the snow knocked the top out of a tree along the road in front of my house......I got to watch the fireworks as the wires (12KV) shorted and arced.......then, the top of the tree started burning........also sending balls of blue "plasma" up and down the lines.....
this, at 2:30 am........as I saw the flames at first, I thought the neighbors house had caught fire from the "short", it looked that way (it was snowing so hard, all I could see were flames and smoke, but, not really where they were coming from. And, they didn't answer their phone, so, I ran down the driveway in my sweats and snow boots, heading for their house.
as I reached the road, I noted the top of the tree, burning, laying across the transmission lines, but, about 20' lower than it should have been.......
well, at least the neighbors house wasn't ablaze..........
