My Tao of Moop needs work.
I peaked in 2007.
I still play the part and moop nearly everywhere I go but sometimes I get frustrated by people who step over moop and by "art" that is moopy and spews debris down the street.
4 thousand mylar ribbons tied on to something hanging down for people to walk through will generate a shitload of moop. Just don't bring it. Or at least make an attempt to clean it up.
I'm done.

Or....how far do you chase the flimsy pair of panties belonging to the adult film actress camped behind you?Ugly Dougly wrote:Well it ain't sacred fucking relics!
Question: There is a plastic bag crossing your camp in the wind at about 30 knots. How far do you run after it before you give up? (Use both sides of the form if necessary.)
See, they MIGHT be sacred relics.....

I said Grammar Police, not Spelling Police.Mojojita wrote:Please allow me to be TRULY obnoxious (again) ------ it is spelled "egregious".theCryptofishist wrote:Yeah, but since being voted "Most Likely to Inform for the Grammar Police" in eplaya high, it's especially egrigious when I do it.
The Spelling Police took away my Spelling Badge. *sniff*

It helps me to pick up trash in a certain frame of mind. The goal is for me to pick up that trash. Somehow, I do it better my way. You can use the Dougly Path.Ugly Dougly wrote:It's not a freaking Vegas review, it's not a freaking spiritual experience! We pick up trash.

The best times to pick up trash are when the sun is lower to the horizon, because it creates more contrast and the MOOP stands out better (plus it is not so hot). There is a better chance that prime Schmoop goes undiscovered in the dark, and therefore at Dawn there is roughly 8 hours of accumulated, unscouted, unscavenged, MOOP (of which a small percentage is Schmoop). By focusing ones efforts at or shortly after dawn, it is cool (and keeping moving is a blessing), and the odds are best for Schmoop. Dusk is also cooler, but by then most nearby Schmoop beds have been virtually cleared, making treks further out a necessity to maintain a high Schmoop ratio. The only bad time to go Schmooping, IMO, is at or around Noon. The Sun is overhead, making for few shadows and everything disappears into a glary blob of dirt. Plus it is scorching hot, and doing so will soon make you MOOP. Have a grand Schmoopy day!
Oh yeah, Fishy - we can Schmoop together anytime!

Considering I have no idea how fast 30 knots is... I'm gonna say I'm out of shape and on vacation, so I'm not gonna run anywhere.Ugly Dougly wrote:Well it ain't sacred fucking relics!

I order the closest Camp Virgin to chase it, and not to come back without it! (and they better have scrounged a cold beer for their Superior Officer along the way, too, or someone's going to be polishing the Kernul's Staff Car)Ugly Dougly wrote:Question: There is a plastic bag crossing your camp in the wind at about 30 knots.
