Well almost destroyed my relationship with my other half back in 08. *shrugs* It is what it is. Good guy just not a burner so he couldn't understand why I was so distracted all the time and why I couldn't stop talking about it. In 06 he just assumed it was because it was new and fantastic not realizing that it was a big part of my life.

Oh no not at all it just is what it is. So I just try to keep from going crazy girl about it constantly. He did ask the other day if we ever moved away from WA where I would want to go. I said Reno..he said why. I said it was the only other place where I could be close to "family" he rolled his eyes and said why not San Jose so we could be close to his family. I shrugged. I assume that at some point our lives will go in different directions but what we have now is good for now.

Howdy all...found some friends from Noway and Finland and Denmark tonight and it made me think a lot of the herring camp folks...sigh...rotten fish....off to drink some more.

Hiya everbody!!!

So I think we might go with bright colors on the pergola. I was looking at some fun things from the thrift store I got and it just pops.

So big bold bright colors with some geometrical type designs on it.
Fun and frivolous!!!

The weather has now predicted a lil' shower on Sunday(mom's day) afternoon....Like: I dont fucken think so Mother nature.... It may be your day but its my day too!

I'm anxious about how I'm getting out there, and paying for everything.

And this thread always makes me sad. My morning cup of coffee involves the swill from the pot and a decaf singles coffee bag, to bolster it a bit.

Only seven more hours sitting here, staring at this screen to go!

Faugh! My corp only gives out French roast coffee. For those of you of the Mormon persuasion, French roast is the most bitter of brews, the beans being roasted way too long.

The simple minded PhD engineers among me assume that if it's bitter, then it must be strong.

I thought the french roast was the mildest from the roasting?
At least the true french roast I've had was.
Maybe they just buy crap coffee?

good coffee, to me is like good shoes. I'm not getting the cheap stuff anymore. too important a foundation, too many years of WOW, what a big can of Folgers, and only 5 dollars. (ACK!) I think the coffee in hell would be Folgers.
