I really do have coffee and bacon now!

I got excited because I found a pill in the breakroom, but it's just naproxen.

hey there PM............

your projects are ambitious..........I can't wait to see them, and, help, if you need/want.

I take the "what needs to happen, will" attitude towards my playa list......
it's so huge, I let it self-manage...........hahahhaa, and, sometimes, it even works.

Woah, I haven't checked in for a while. I'm up in Richmond now and heading into the weekend. The drink at hand is a mix of vodka, cranberry and red bull. I forget what they called it.

Morning all. Lots of goodies to view and some coffee to share with YG. You guys are sooooo ambitious. I've got my stuff all set from last year, dust included. Piney, where do you get the energy?????

Look forward to seeing Sputnik for a bit tomorrow. That should be fun

Gyre, how did you make out in the flooding? Hope you are ok. Guess Nashville got hit worse than Memphis.

Have a good day all

Today is .....

Trip to homepeepshow for supplies:

The rest of the Greenhouse supplies
Fun paint colors
2x6's for the pergola

We will be spending tomorrow on getting the Greenhouse all the way finished!!!!
(cause my side tracked patio idea took alot more time and energy then my silly brain figured...like ahhhh dur!)

Painting the pergola!
Have decided to paint it whacky whimsicle colors with whimsicle designs on top of the bright colors! So year round we will have color to see out back!
A nice way to brighten ones day...plus it will drive my neighbors nuts! hahahaaaaaaa

I think I will get the funnest brightest green in a gallon size...cause Im going to paint the greenhouse wood that color too! weeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm fine, but I'm on the highest ground here.

The area outside of Memphis was hit hard, Millington and so forth.
They were on the international news for at least two days.
It's near the Mississippi, but not on the bluff.
A lot of friends had houses ruined and then robbed, while under evacuation orders.

Hard to compare to Nashville.
I tried to call yesterday and the ATT building was flooded out, so no landlines.
They got mobile back yesterday in the area I was calling, but all was out until then, so be prepared if you plan on phones.
A lot of fancy homes flooded out.

My good pair of speakers was in a shop that flooded and appears fine, an inch over the flood level.
The other end of the shop still has standing water.

Oh, it's going to rain today.

We had 12 inches in a few hours last week.
I need it dry.

gh wanders in from the dark desert.
it is always so amazing up here.
just about the time you think you have seen it all, there is something new.
coming to work the sunset and the colors where just right to make the playa look like water,
got just a little view of what ancient Lake Lahontan would have looked like.
the shores, the islands, doubt it would have had the train tracks though the middle of it all

still quite a sight.
