hello ....
sounds like projects are going well, hooray! mine big project is scraping linoleum off the kitchen floor, so i can then paint the floor to match the rest of my place ... you wouldn't believe how many compliments i get on my old cement sub-floor painted with garage paint! cracks me up. i still have a few beads to add to my goat horn tiara, too.
glad you had a good time marty! keep the little tidbits of your weekend coming ..... i loved being out in the open playa, it is very, very beautiful out there when the dust isn't going crazy.
*sets out some drinks in case anyone wants one*

Good mornning, Misa. Thanks for that great looking cake. Between that and YGMIR's brownies, we'll all be putting on the calories this AM!
Come on, Misa, join us on the bench under the NEB with some coffee. I bet we can even convert the brownies to those that make you laugh a lot! Now there is an idea.
Hey Sput, how are you doing? LF, did you finish painting your floor. Sounds like a great idea having an "outdoor" surface indoors. Have seen some very striking effects done that way. That is the artist in you coming out.
Hey, Piney, safety may be overated, but a broken bone is likely a bit less so. So do be careful. Take your time, there is always tomorrow.
Glad you'll have room in your gartage to still have your work shop, Elorrum. Important for us creative types to have a space to putter and create. Dougly, sounds like you need a day off from the partying to recharge for the next round. Boy do I envy you!
Well, move over YG here I come to sit down and shut up for a bit!
Cheers, all

*wanders in, get big smile when seeing all the people in bar, grabs delicious gin and tonic and goes under NEB.....what a joy*

I see I should find another of edible pleasures ....hmm, may be not, because as here are never ending sources, they dont give us bad calories either
Marty, Marty! Tell us some story from the rendezvous...

Ok, Misa, slide right in next to me and I will have some stories for you and all the other denizens of the famous NEB. The stories will follow in my next few postings. For now, a bit of snuggle time!

Pinemom, this ladder may work.
I haven't found anywhere I can't set one up.
I thought they were costly until I had one.
Waku from germany, may be sold in the us under another name.
Love them.

LF, be careful of asbestos or other dangerous stuff in the binder on your linoleum.
If you don't use epoxy, take a look at mono epoxy ester.
I use it in white for interior walls.
Fairly cheap.
Stinks until cured, so advisable to use thin coats, but totally stable one piece finish when cured.
Water barrier and can be cleaned with acetone.
Good for graffiti surfaces too.
Too hot here.

G'morning....
Yup, we apparently are skipping spring altogether up here...summer is landing.
woke up this morning...and yesterday...gasping through the heat of the house!
Today, most everything I hadnt even planned to do ...is getting pushed off, so i can go clear the garden of construction materials, last years messes...and asst. concrete from the old herb garden...
THEN, turn the dirt we gotta get in the garden! yesterday!
Mostly partly cloudy is good, but it still sunburns!
Floppy hat here I come!
