I've barely spent any time in Germany.
I wanted to have an exotic life of international travel and adventure. Including living in foreign parts. Other things happened; some of them truly unpleasant. When my niece was studying in St. Petersburg last year part of my heart was spitting fire from jealousy, nad I can get a little gloomy when Misa talks about Prague.
The truth is, I'm not sure how I'm going to travel now, much less become a quasi emigre. I'll muddle through I suppose...

Why? If you don't mind me asking. If you don't want to talk about it publicly, pm me, if it's none of my business, just let me know.

Oh, I'm filthy Elorrum. Working on an art project in a muddy wooded area is not a way to stay clean.

well,
it's Monday........anyone have a fun weekend?

I went with Looneytune to a small, local parade, to try out his "new and improved" stage........very nice.
and, there was a float from a "top soil" company, which, was full of, of course, top soil..............hahhaa, somehow, a full sized pot plant appeared in the back just after the truck entered the parade line........and, somehow disappeared just before coming to the end..........but, it was a hit, the crowd cheered..........

Hi All. Good to hear about the great Lakes of Fire, Sput! Yg & his parade I was in a major tennis tournament this weekend and did very well, altho our tem lost the tourney Great fun and about 6 sets of tennis and two tiebreakers. Won all but one match!

Now, after a short dive into the NEB with Misa & Fae Tora, I'l be off to the office for a meeting

Beautiful day here. Have you been checking the tems at BRC? In the 90's

Cheers

You're new, but most of the old timers on the board know that I had my legs cut off by a train in 07. While agreeing that it should not keep me at home, it nonetheless complicates travel for me, especially the sort of "adventure" travel that I'd be most likely to do otherwise.

Great weekend. We did a hike Saturday until we couldn't go any further because of snow and the run off making the trail impassable. Still managed almost six miles. Saturday night was a party with our ski club. Yesterday was lay back and start to get ready for the trip next Wednesday. Heading to the Seattle area for a few days then North to Alaska. Once back I'll concentrate full bore on Burningman.

GH - on our hike Saturday morning we saw a group using Peruvian Goats as pack animals. Those are some big goats.

It was GREAT! Improvements need to be made so that it will actually float through the woods rather than just hang there, but it was still FANTASTIC! It looked great, the lights were cool and the soundtrack was exactly what I wanted. I've yet to see any nighttime shots, hope someone took some.
