Can you point out any group that is populated by free-thinkers? The whole reason groups form is because they have a like-minded philosophy. Burning Man encourages free-thinkers, but their ideas, if popular, are quickly embraced by the group. Isn't this what happens with all free-thinking? What Burning Man is is a subculture.
