Early Entry Passes

Post by zorro sings » Fri Jul 30, 2010 7:51 am

Let this be the forum where we rejoice or bemoan our fate concerning EA passes. We were surprised to see our requested number of passes in our mailbox this morning.A great improvement in timing and reliability.Thanks.

Is it amazing? No longer do we have to wait in the willcall line, bemoaning and wailing through this veil of tears, for the system wasyet as always borked. Much like the gleeful surprise that appeared at the Ticket Gulag earlier this year, the proletariat rejoices at the fair and equitable system the bourgeoise instituted at the behest of the domineering class to bring this breath of freedom to the workers and laborers that build our fair and industrious city...

Of the passes we have received so far, 40% of them did not have the bar code attached. I did sent them back with a brief explanation, and I accept that errors in programming occur. All things considered, a vast improvement.

Doc,I agree and that's why I posted this topic.I remember a few years ago there were 4 pages of complaints on the WWW,my own and I'm guessing yours included as there was plenty to complain about. The next year it was far superior.I posted a topic praising the good work.Of course the compliment thread did not get anywhere near 4 pages,1/2 is about right.
Here again last year there were 13 pages of venom about the EA process.I am assuming most or all of those posters had a good experience this year. Why not acknowledge it?
We were pleased that a distinquished Terminal City Ruling Boy took the time out to give thanks. No one suffered like they did last year over this issue.

There's a small hiccup in the Terminal City passes. I'm sure it will be resolved soon and since they are so early this year, no need to panic. :)
Suck it.

Yup! I agree the early arrival system was much easier and less hassle (probably for everyone involve). Kudos!

Ooops! I meant to follow up and say everything at Terminal City is wonderful and our passes are all accounted for. The placement team rocks!
Suck it.

bemoan our fate

Post by innovatordoll » Mon Aug 09, 2010 12:40 pm

May I bemoan our fate.

Sadly the early arrival passes we counted on fell through at the last minute. We choose to do the right thing and it cost us, our way in, to set up our camp.

So I ask. Should anyone receive 2 extra early arrival passes or know of someone receiving two extra. (I'm having the strange movie images of Willy Wonka and the golden tickets right about now) could you send them my way?

PM ok email ok.

I will answer any and questions privately about the matter, who we are ect. Thank you for even reading this.
