We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Why does Tiny Tim saw "a merry christmas to all", and "merry" seems like an old English term in general... and the Brits all say "Happy Christmas" and we say "Merry Christmas?"

Maybe we picked it up from that carol (best part, "we won't go until we get some, we won't go until we get some, we won't go until we get some, so bring it right here" blackmail has been a part of the season for years.)
and maybe "merry" only seems English because of "Merry olde Englande." And it's "Happy Birthday", "Happy New Year", "Happy Easter" maybe the English like consistently.

Besides, I'm more worried about the whole "who your favorite muppet is explains much about your personality thing." Because it's Beaker all the way. And then Beaker marries the Swedish Chef... That boggles what's left of my mind.
