and, I just tried logging in, then out, 6 or 7 times in a row, and, it didn't lock me out...........
just as a test.

Yes, I got locked out of Eplaya friday night, with the too many log in attempts message. I was also locked out of another site with almost the same message. I haven't been able to get back onto that other site with my personal computer, but can with my work computer, so I'm thinking that my problem is computer related...

Interesting...im at like three different sites have been locked out of two.. Each with sep. Computers and ips.

Methinks its simple vandalism, but would like to keep tabs of time and date for the sys admin to investigate.

Some may question the use of public forum for this but i have my reasons.

It only happens if you try and FAIL to log in. Use the wrong password 6 or 7 times in a row and you'll see what happens.

yeah, I knew what would happen if I used the wrong password.....I was testing, to see if some sort of "counter" might be malfunctioning, counting my log ins against me, even if they were correct.

Hey, you wouldn't by chance have some app running on a cell phone or an old computer (maybe one that got stolen or "lost") that regularly logs in and checks web pages for new postings, would you? Maybe it is configured with an old password.

the only problem is if some oompa loompa from New Jersey has been typing, the orange taint could be paint...

computers are not exactly a precise science, there are many variables.
