A ride?

Hi,
Its my first year attending Burning Man and im sooo excited to be a part of this beautiful event. Im pretty much prepared already, i just need to buy my ticket and im set, however i dont have a car or a trusted ride. I live in the bay area (Livermore). If anyone out there (who isnt creepy) has room for one more virgin burner that would be sweet!!!! Reaally looking foward to going! You can email me emilyisstrange1990 at yahoo dot com

This will be moved to the Share Resources forum, and you should ask the mods to take your email out of the post, otherwise your email will become useless except for unfortunate Nigerians who want to do you a favor.

I won't even get into the question whether creepy people know that they are creepy, and if they'd disqualify themselves if they did. I certainly believe that there are creepy people who enjoy creeping out others, and several hours with a cute newly-minted burner might be even better than seeing the man in flames. YMMV.

You need to come back and bump this now and then, it is early days yet. Also, waiting for a reply to a single post rarely nets a ride, interacting and introducing yourself gets more results as other eplayans/burners get to know you.

The ride board fourm thingy doesn't get cranked up until June or July. Meet local Burners via your Regionals Network links (see Homepage). With a handle like yours, I'd want to meet in a public place before offering a ride.

ok. Jest being Snarky, but really the name is creeping me out, kinda like the wired guy that shows up at our camp and even before he tells you his name he wants to know if there's any thing to smoke. Were not all paranoid, we're just not all into Cuffs and Role playing.

oh I'm cutting the Snark. just read your Intro and I see you're with Doc and The BDC, just remember Em, he says he's a doctor but those gloves he wears aren't for hygiene they're for sex.

Im aware of the creepy ppl out there, thank u and i would definatly meet my potential ride in a public place. I read the survival guide and spent 8 hours reading posts on eplaya. Actually this might work out cuz i just recently found out a friend in the bay area is going! If not i'll read the ride board thingy when it gets posted.

Don't even stress it now.. you're close by. When the time comes, you'll have plenty of ways to get there guaranteed. Spend more energy now planning some kick ass clothes and something killer for the night light up. Do it! Go nuts!
