Bike tires?

Post by nadja » Tue Jul 27, 2004 10:29 am

I hear the playa is really extra dusty this year and I was looking for suggestions on the best kind of tires to get for my bike? I know chubbier is better but should I also be looking for really nubby ones? Any brand suggestions?

Since you asked, for mountain bikes/cruisers its hard to beat a wide (2.125+) inverted tread tire like this one. Rolls great on hard pack, wide enough to float on soft stuff and the inverted tread works when you need it, doesn't drag like knobbies when you don't. And Slime your tubes!
