I have an army camouflage net (8' x 8') that I would like to use as a shade strcutre but I don't know what poles to get to set it up. Any input on what to buy or make.

art,

Was thinking about using these with a parachute but gave up it as I ran out of time.

From the looks these are the real poles and spreaders.

And just my opinion but I would not call a camo net "shade". Not unless you weave the net full. If I remember right from my Army days a camo net is only 35% filled in so you get 65% sun. You might want to start thinking about aliminized tarps. Sun on the hign desert is just brutal. Do not become a victum.
