I'm loving Bob's post above- it always has the "Now" weather, no matter when you enter this thread.

Looks like 90 yesterday. Not too unbearable, even if I have to leave my fogged in haven to get there...

It depends on the time of day.

Weather School...
As air temperature changes, so does its ability to hold moisture.
Cold air can hold less moisture, so as temperatures drop in the evening, the air becomes more saturated (humid) even though the actual amount of water in the air stays the same.

Here are some graphs (they are live) from my backyard (high desert ~120 miles away). It's dry here. No major systems moved through in the last few days but you'll see that the the humidity (bottom graph) is all over the place. Notice how it corrolates with the temp graph.

The outdoor humidity sensor has been busted since at least last year.
I'll have a station on the playa again this year.
Will be gifting forecasts-"Hot and dry during the day, cool and dark in the evenings"

It's rained in Reno the last few afternoons. From the looks of the radar, it looks like the playa may be getting some now (Jul31 afternoon).

My weather comes from Weather Underground (Gerlach Nv.

It will differ from 11 miles out on the playa..

Gerlach weather is just a close rule to look at..
