SFO BURNER VIRGIN! Going alone, Share ride or camp??

Hey Burners,

So after many years of not being able to go due to a conflict in schedule I am finally going to my first Burn. I am 35, an emergency critical care veterinarian, and an old hand at music festivals (I know not the same but in some respects a little). I have a few connections on the playa but not enough of a connection to have a group to camp with yet. I have a friend coming up late so Ill be solo the first few days (which is fine, I love making my own adventure). However, before getting out there I was hoping to bridge some connections. Maybe share a ride or caravan with a group and possibly find a connection with a group to camp with. I currently am driving up in my 4runner alone and would love to offer a ride or join a group leaving from SFO on Monday. I live in the mission now and grew up in the East Bay and I have just returned back to Northern California after 11 years away (went to vet school in Edinburgh, Scotland, lived in Santa Monical for 4 years, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach and Richmond Va). IT IS SOOOOO GOOD TO BE HOME!!

So I am excited to forge some new connections, to finally experience the magic on the playa that Ive heard so much about for so many years. I am just putting this out there wondering who might read this and think, hey! We have a spot in our camp or know of someone who might want to carpool or has a spot in their RV or just wants to make a new connection!! Im hoping that SFO will never be the same after Burning man and I will have made many new friends that I can bring back home to San Francisco with me....Im new to the city as well!
