Yes they are! :D
The idea behind the higher price is to give a ticket to someone for Christmas. You'll also be the first kid on your block to be able to wave your colorful Burning Man ticket in the faces of all the people who didn't get their tickets yet, The latter is worth the price difference all by itself.

but as I read the website, all you get for your big $ is a 'gift certificate'...Real tickets come out in June.
