Where / when can I do nude modeling in BRC?

Post by en_pointe » Sun Aug 15, 2010 1:26 am

Always wanted to, just gotta find the venue.

Fit hetero male, not really wanting to be demure.

The wilder the better but I will be happy simply to pose and allow anyone the drawing practice they desire. The human figure is the best and most challenging subject.

There was a figure drawing camp listed in the themecamp forum a while back. You need to dig there.

Also check the guide.

I used to see people doing the statue thing near the platform where I worked in London. They looked frozen - id watch them for ten minutes and could rarely spot them move a muscle or blink.

Strip, stand on a statue base and let the people view you in your glory. Post a sign if you do or do not approve of pictures, and it will be respected 90% of the time.

There's a camp that does that in AEZ. Should be in the WWW guide.

Though it is well established I don't respond but to hetero females, I have to admit I like curiousgnate's attitude!

Anyway thanks for the info, looks like as of now, just the one event unless as suggested I make my own.

What about at Picasso camp. The have paints for people to use and canvas and everything. All you would have to do is stand there and smile.

I could hold class in your yurt, and you could learn how to draw with a live nude model.
I have a little bit of Savannah with me. Shhh...

If you look in the list of events, there's a bunch of people asking for nude models! I saw them when I was preparing my list of things I'd like to do but will probably miss. (I'm a virgin, I'm keeping my expectations reasonably low.)

here's a an event I found just with a quick look at burning man earth: http://playaevents.burningman.com/brc/2 ... ation/750/

Also there's Art Model Camp, which is specifically for people to either model nude, or draw nude models. No experience necessary
art model camp
A shade structure in the AEZ (likely on the "F" side) for figure drawing with Male and Female models (5-20 minute poses). Anyone can draw or pose, sign up to pose if you're curious, no experience necessary. Some drawing supplies will be available. And a bar right afterward.
Located @Alternative Energy Zone Village

Yes, as above.

The art model camp will be at 6:30 and F in the AEZ, and we hold the sessions from noon to 3 every day, but Wednesday we'll be in the main AEZ area (the "Mayor's Office") rather than our own camp. We're in the WWW.

DPW Saloon actually does drawing/painting nights. It's done a lot better than you'd think and I bet they'd welcome more models.
