Waiting, waiting, waiting..... Did read a slip up that the pricing will be $380 a ticket with no tiers. Low income tix at $190. Just hearsay but someone saw it posted by mistake then it was quickly taken down. "twiddling my thumbs"

Maybe we should have a weigh in/weigh out procedure for the meet'n'greet this year.

Still a snotfest in my head though, ugh.

Ah, tickets. Someone will be unhappy, no matter what. I have a bit of a first world problem myself. No matter, it will work out.

When do our theme camp applications go in?

Hi Gang!
sorry you're still not feeling so well, dang it.

Glad to see the ticket thing is being pretty well received....seems reasonable.

I had the first fire in the Hofstove yesterday.....went pretty well.
Now, though, I'm perplexed: I put the exhaust in one place, I see another possibility, and can't really decide which is best. Both have advantages. Sometimes, too many options can be as frustrating as not enough.

I still think Ygmir is secretly building a wood-fired rocket to rendezvous with John Frum's space ship, so I'm watching the eastern sky for a cubical shooting star ascending thru the clouds in a shower of sparks.

haha wood fired rocket ship!! Elliot, you genius!! "producer gas" and I'm on myway!!!

and FJ: really, you talk about "chained down" and "thrusters" like they're not for sporting events!!

I put some big oak chunks in tonight, see how long they last in there, and make for a longer heat cycle.
It made a big "bang" again. I know a joint is moving, but can't find it. It's not necessarily a bad thing, just curious what's causing the noise.

During the occupation of Norway, with the shortage of gasoline, people ran cars and trucks on "wood gas" generated on-board with a huge wood burner in the trunk. So with today's more advanced technology....

yeah,, seems such a waste, though, since you have to burn so much wood, to make the heat to make the gas.
if there's no option, sure, but the heat has to come from somewhere.

I guess we ought to show the other bar patrons what we are talking about. After all, this is a friendly and cooperative bar!

From somewhere on the interweb, this car is reported to be in Germany in 1946. Yes, this car runs on wood. But the necessary accessory is a bit awkward.
