Fig, that was awesome. I just love the 80's twisted stuff. Elvira was a regular on the John Paragon show, and did a few cameos on Pee Wee Herman's Sat. show. I was a big fan. There is an excellent DVD of comedy sketches John Paragon did early 80's, now available on the web. Elvira did a great character on "The Mating Game", with Thelma Peckerwood and Candy O'Brian.

Actually, it's the second page of any given thread. Sometimes the first post is so inanely stupid that we rush over to the thread you reference, in order to get our snark out someplace where it doesn't derail the discussion into accusations and counter-accusations of troll, not in the real spirit of burningman, idiot, meanie, usw. (That's German for "ect." Accusation here is "pretentious".)
The rule "No snarky posts until there's been at least one pertinent and useful one" has been mis-memorized as "No snarky posts until page two" which is how that thread was named.

What Fishy said. It's more of an attempt by some to hold their tongue, with the added benefit of giving the person who may have so obviously put their foot in their mouth a chance to redeem themselves. The internet in general, and Burning Man in particular (both online and on the playa) is a snarky place.
