Then again, you could make them with butter, NOT freeze them, but keep them refrigerated 'til you leave for the Playa, stick them in your cooler (well sealed) until Wednesday, and if there are any left by Wednesday, take them to the M&G. Butter is unsurpassed by any oil for the proper flavour for rice crispy treats!

I think this is what I would try--keeping 'em reasonably cool and wrapped tight.

This is probably the route I'll go. But, I still believe experiments will be required over the next couple months... purely for scientific reasons, PURELY!

I've never had the "cake batter" variety, (or I didn't know) but thats some good shit!
I've always had it as more of a peanut butter and chocolate sort of mix. The peanut better and chocolate kind really does look like dog chow.

We have a type of organic, BgHfree, processed style cheese up here that is so flippin awesome they make a cream style and a cheddar style. It is less salty tasting and has an expiration date. Wish I knew the name of it. But it makes the best mac. but what is also really good is Bacon Bits! Now wait! I know you wanted the Vegetarian stuff; most "Artificial" Bacon bits are Soy meal and toasted barley malt, dye( < usually paprika) and salt. add baby peas and herbs and your stylin'.

YES!!!
Though, I don't know what Finger Cock is? I assuming its the fact you have to run your finger around the edge between the jello and the cup? Thus adding playa dust and what ever sorta junk (junk, cock, haha) you have on your hands.

I've always been found of Jello shots made in those little white cups that fast food joints have, for putting ketchup, BBQ, and other sauces in. Because you can roll up the rim, unfold, and peel back the cup sort of like a muffin/cupcake. Though, if memory serves the absinth jello shots were not really firm so it might not work.

That's actually what I use, they have a nice lid on them just to keep the dust out and easier for storage in a cooler.

The finger cock was due to my injured finger which I had covered with a realistic penis extender. The jello shots look like the product of said appendage and I was kinda playing with that schtick during the party last year.

I've tried using agar to make them firmer in the heat of the day, but the texture leaves much to be desired.

Due to its popularity last year, I am planning to bring Honey Bourbon again - unless I find something even more interesting.

my veg mac'ncheez turned out absolutely stupendous! however, after a freeze and a re-heat, not so much.

i am still determined to bring some sort of substantial food. a real meal, if you will. it may be the only one i make on playa!
