Very nice, I really hate new gas cans!

The 40ah lithium battery arrived for our project. Still missing a few pieces before I can start assembling it though.

This past weekend I stopped by our storage locker to make sure the hexayurt still tasted like playa.

Just finished my first batch of chai liqueur. Think Kahlua but with the flavor of chai instead of coffee. It came out surprising well. Mixed with almond milk for a chaitini. Or maybe a White Indian. Might add a few peppercorns to give it a bit more spice though.

I don't normally go with milk alternatives, but I thought it would go well with the chai flavor and be a little lighter and more drinkable in the heat.

Will make one more batch so I have enough for the M&G.

WooHoo! for that bumpy lookin' plain brown envelope in the mail!

..meanwhile, two white tarps came in today, which will be used to wrap the yurt for the long drive out strapped down to the truck's camper roof. Truck is white too, so I'm hoping to give the ride a bit of an integrated style this year for fun.

Bike came in also, I'll pick it up this weekend. I went ahead and bought a new one for its 3-speed internal gear hub, wide tires, and stout rear rack, which I have plans for..
Caught it on sale, $40 less!

Other odds and ends have been filtering in from various other directions as well.

And yeah, hate the new gas can spouts. I assume that it is some kind of federal mandate. I've seen aftermarket normal spouts available, but they were around $8.00 apiece as I recall. Sheesh..

I made a tin tube to put in the vans filler tube while refueling from a can.. That damn little flap kept grabbing the spouts...

Now that it's freshly painted, today I started refitting the Land Yacht with new LED lighting to replace all the old incandescent white rope-lights.
And I repolished the aluminum wheels on my duallie... can't tow a freshly painted boat with a truck wearing tarnished wheels!

This week-end I was tormented by a Schwinn Chopper at the flea. (That's the bike in my avatar pic). The guy selling in the space next to me had one for $80.00. I don't need another bike.

I can't take any credit for them. My wife is making them for me and she doesn't even go! She says when there is a hotel she'll go. I said when there is a hotel I won't! :D

got a camper today , buddy from HS who I work with said his family had a old one . Went and looked at it and its kinda old but doesnt smell and its dry. They put a sealer on the roof at one time , and it looked like it had a leak before. It has a propane stove and a sink , but no water tank . The sink has a pump that runs to a hole to the outside of the rig , will have to fiqure everything out. It has a closet where you can put a porta pottie. No shower , but I have a solar bag for that. But it was FREE with a title , tags expired feb 2013 , so it was used not to long ago. The jacks for it are not hydralick , they seem to be a screw kinda. Going to pick it up this weekend :)
