Our art project is the centerpiece for the 3:00 plaza this year. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get. A lot of us are spending many days/hours per week towards making this happen. We've done an art car the past 3 years (the grrrsect) so we know what we're getting into, and hope that everyone will enjoy what we're building for this year.

This piece is intended to be experienced by participants at Burning Man, from August 26 through September 2, 2013. Whether used for ceremonial purposes, as a meditation space, a place to hold rituals, to find shade in the sunlight, or interact with the illumination, by night—we intend this piece to be useful for each individual’s own unique purpose.

After returning from Burning Man 2013, the Templum Caelestis Oculus will be stored and will return to grace the playa in the future, in another, evolved, form. We firmly believe that while creation is important, so is evolution. The materials dedicated and money spent on this project will be utilized again, maybe not in its original form, but in a new way. It will live on. Reinvent and reincarnate. Just as do each of us, when we leave the playa and return again.
