I can't believe how depressed I was Tuesday morning and again yesterday afternoon. I'm really at my wit's end when I'm talking to Toshi's ghost, asking for her help.

But what? That meaningful New Year's party/housewarming/star party around the fire circle with my small, tight circle of family and friends wasn't good enough? Then dear, sweet Suze drops Wed night by to pick up the party lights that she had brought for the party, and we have dinner and talk all night. Then Mei-mei drops by last night to crash? And then Pinky wants to go hiking after work?

What am I moaning about?

Last Saturday night 25-30 of us dragged / carried 15 christmas trees almost a mile down a jogging path then down the beach along the shores of the mighty Columbia river. We stacked em up, poured some lamp oil on em and torched it. PBR, whisky, and general jackassery accompanied our frolic. The crowd was primarily made up of Portland burners and there were plenty of furry eared cpas, fuzzy jackets, and platform boots. Adding to the fun were the moon and 747's on their landing vectors just 250 feet above us.
WTF did I ever do before I found you awesome fuckos?

Oh, forgot something. The lovely page a day calendar from the Audubon Society didn't actually stop publishing a few years ago. It morphed into a different page a day calendar, with a format that I prefer!

He said diddling!

Hey y'all! I'm down from 30 smokes a day to 2 or 3! I began using Blu disposable e-cigs on New Year's Eve on a lark. It's not a NY resolution, just always wanted to try em. 5 days after getting a disposable, I got the Blu starter kit that takes less expensive refills. 3 days later I got a better kind that gives a better throat hit and feels like the real thing. A day later I ordered a bulk liquid refillable one and 6 ounces of medium and high strength liquids.
It came in yesterday and I love it! It really works swell. My monthly cost for nicotine drops from $270 a month to about $15-$20 a month.
The smoke juice comes in lotsa different flavors.
I ordered:
3 different tobacco flavor varieties
Jolly Rancher watermelon
Juicy watermelon
Melon explosion
Espresso
and...
BACON!!!
No shit! They make bacon that you can smoke! It's supposed to taste like maple hickory smoked bacon!

The liquids are a base of propylene glycol (which is what they use in nebulizers for asthma patients) and flavoring. The exhaled vapor is water vapor. There is no smell and I smoke them inside, at the market, in my doctor's office and in restaurants.

I got the Ovale eGo-C with refillable 2ml tanks. 2ml lasts 2-3 days.
Image
Blah blah blah...
I love it, this hardly smoking thing. Vapor is great!
I wrote a post on my blog and will be writing another post on the eGo-C soon:

I've said it before and I'll say it again,
YAY!

Misa, I looked over last year's Barbiebarian list and found a few people close to NYC (relatively speaking). Drew and Mindy are in Connecticut and Kmama (Kristi) is on the Jersey-NY border. I can give you their contact info if you'd like.
