Re: Time for a Happy Thread
Imagine the conga line you could get going at Burning Man if you had the assistance of a mutant vehicle soundsystem?
Black Rock City Conga Tours.
(I don't care if it's been done before. Nothing that good should happen only once!)

Re: Time for a Happy Thread
lets do it!!!
start maybe at the MnG, or well, something. WE have a mutant vehicle in camp.
but, one with a really big sound would be cool!!!
I know the rythm/song/beat I'm thinking, but, don't know the name, to find it on utube.
But, it's in a lot of cartoons, as they dance in a line. or march.
haha, it'd be a hoot!!

Since people might get bored if they had to conga more than a block, it might be fun if whoever they collect along the way ends up at the conga truck for a conga drink. Then the truck drives a few blocks and starts over. You might need a line leader. Whoever makes it as far as the congra truck gets SURPRISE PIÑA COLADA . . .

Re: Time for a Happy Thread
Hey, maybe we could do a Conga line out to the CORE burn, if it's on Thursday night again.
The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters
Re: Time for a Happy Thread
You guys are so silly! I am TOTALLY down for congo lining around the burn!
There actually was a congo line in the crowd of my team as we waiting for the game to start. We had to wait as everyone was counted because the game was sanctioned by Guinness World Records.
For those interested in what 5 thousand people playing dodgeball looks like....

Couldn't get the video imbedded, but the ninja with the green balloon sword is a friend of mine

Re: Time for a Happy Thread
Nope, that's right.
Oh, here's a photo of Mr Fufa and I before the game began. I expect to have some nicer ones soon, as some people with big fancy cameras liked our hats.

My ever so lovely mother-law, bought me airline tickets with her airmiles so I can attend the wedding of Mr. Fufa's brother! I was concerned about getting the time off to be able to drive out of province to it, so she booked me flights so I only need to take an afternoon off! Love her so much.

Today, I was able to convince my doctor to perform a colonoscopy on me without anesthesia. The thought of an IV was keeping me from having this procedure. It's Feb. 23rd, stay tuned!
