yeah, but very tired. actually i think they might be massage bruises... our eplayans were trying to make my back behave, the darlins. the damn back hurt enough last night that i couldn't sleep... drifted off sometime after 3am, then up at 6:20 or so. too much on my mind, too.

i miss tisha. the best part of this whole damn weekend was monday morning, just hanging out and having girl time.

My grandma is old and sick, and though I've not been very close to her ever, I'll miss her, especially on holidays when I was apt to see her. Grandma's homemade pickles and warm potato salad, hmmm. German chocolate cake from scratch, oh my. *sigh*

I'm okay. It was a total relief to be with you all last night. THAT saved me, really. Being around people who I love and who love me... I needed that. Between all the love going around, and the couple of cocktails... i was pretty okay. Got home and cried my eyes out. But, she went peacefully, no pain, and we knew it was coming. My mom was there with her, could tell by her breathing that she was going, whispered to her that we all love her, and told her it was okay to go. Then she did. Very peaceful, really.

It's still a little hard, though. I'm weepy girl today... for a lot of reasons...
