As the week progressed, my tolerance had increased so much that I wasn't getting drunk from drinking beer. I was even adding shots to it and not feeling a buzz. I eventually gave up, thinking that I would probably give myself alcohol poisoning before actually getting a buzz... or I would run out of beer first. My six-beer daily ration quickly became inadequate, so I could probably handle drinking a beer for each toe... later in the week...

Ever drink Bailey's from a shoe? It's the closest you can get without your eyes getting wet. Bailey's. Creamy. I'll get you another Bailey's.

A-ha ha ha ha, there was this GREAT moment in camp, when somebody looked at their box of PBR and went "SHIT! Fuck! We bought this in UTAH!!"

That's priceless. That's why I always take my stash with me. Not sure if it's legal to take alcohol across state lines, but I always do...

I found myself saying a few times "On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It's a silly place."

Here ya go Pink Daddy, two fire Doc Pep's...

Just drinking coffee now...decompression has been going glorious as of late, and still have until next saturday til' go back to work...the down time has been wonderful/dearly needed. Go working double time for 50 weeks straight, forget the nonchalant beauty: (looking through old photo's, reading journals, and having the energy/will to write a hand written letter :D ha!) Tonight going do some organizing (and de-dusting gear, uugh :? !) then visual art til' bed...
enjoy the simple moments friends, and always allow yourself to "feel the real" ...
(CLARK slurps long on deep on java mug, lights a cig, and begins to write notes to propel his heart/life...)

Story Time #1: It was Tuesday at COFFEE CAMP. Morning is pretty high impact for making/gifting coffee, and it's tons of fun to hear people backgrounds & chat while brewing and pouring. This gentleman came by and inquired if we were COFF' CAMP, replied "yes", and he disappeared. It was busy, so took little notice to the passing through. About 2 minutes later, same gentleman came and plopped a huge, white plasticine bag down and told us to enjoy... ...it was a 35 pound Industrial size bag of whole bean coffee... :) :D :P A gift. This, I knew, was my epiphany moment, my quote/unquote "double-rainbow unicorn" moment. Simply & utterly: m a g c. needless to say, Camp definitely didn't run out of Joe (in fact, I just ground some about 10 minutes ago & am savoring it right now

Hello, everyone.

My story - Megatropolis.
I spent the summer fluffing the crew a bit while they were staying and working at the Burner Hostel here in Reno.
One night at the Hostel we cut and pressed about 500 button pins, and I was given one.

On Friday night at the burn the woman holding the perimeter was wearing the same pin.
I got past perimeter and was able to enjoy Megatropolis burn with the crew.
So many tears of joy! Watched the FrogBat go down in flames.

And then the whiteout.

For some reason I'm not getting the auto notification of a new post on this thread, so I've missed you all. Just spent 30 minutes catching up.

Misa is a joy. What a great young person! Loved showing her around. Will see her on Tuesday evening again.

Really tough trying to get too enthused about Defaultia stuff. Reality sucks!

It is so good to see all of you here now that I have seen and huged so many of you! Hugs are soooooo goooood!

And Monty Python is here too! Yippie!

See you in the NEB in the AM

Good night for now
