Yeah, it can be a lot of fun ... just remember, it gets colder than a welldigger's ass out on the playa at night, even in summer, so dont forget to bring some warm stuff. Bring vinegar, and bring SPF lip balm, and bring salt.

Sorry, I am in "lets make sure the virgins have a good experiance" mode.

It's gonna snow on the playa Thursday I think ... Thursday and Thursday night. Gotta get the snowball tosser back into working order. It's a modification of Rob's sheep slinger.

The little one just zonked on the couch ... probably leave him there for a while. Gosh, you are up late! I just realized what time it was where you are.

mmmm, you can warm those toes right up ... lets see, what do I have within reach .... just some beer, still have some of those 24-ounce PBRs left over from Adrian's Piss Clear party ... they don't seem to be moving too fast.

It's very late here and I'm moving real slow.....but not real sleepy just yet. These kinda nights are very few and far between for me htese days, adn I enjoy them to the end; a therapeutic event courtesy of my "manageable addiction regimen."

kiddos are all snug in their beds, hte beau is tucked away in mine.

mmmm.....thanks for hte warm tootsies.

mmm, go ahead, relax, we're all family here (not in the West Virginia sense, mind you) ... you're home here, savor the moment while you can and let sleep take you when she may.

you and that attitude, mister, and all your big ideas are driving me nutty with eager anticipation.

[scribbles another note on clipboard as passing thought reminds her she may *not* buy a ticket with December's (oops, thanks for your patience, big Mr. Energy Company) electricity bill money]

btw, that's my current real-life god/dess-given face over there on my avatar, the only digital one I've got right now, which is changing tomorrow

I visited there once upon a time and saw yer most pleasing countenance, and secretly wished to be one of yer friends, although I confess I would not visit too often even if I were, as buckle-down time is upon me in a very about-to-kick-my-ass kinda way.

And so may you count yourself most kick-ass buckeld-down friend.

Goodnight, I am headed off to sleep.

Take care eveyone and take a moment to remember the little ones tonite in the towns and villages around the Indian Ocean region. The toll has risen to 26,000 as I write this with an estimated 1/3 of them children. Many are without a place to sleep or even basic human needs tonight. I will hold them in my thoughts for a moment before I sleep and wish them strength and luck.

Oh my gawd, I need more coffee. The heat is off in the building and it's pretty f'in cold here on the EC this morning.

On the bright side, I've got my writing for the day done already and can turn my attention to more important things once I figure out what they are.
