Ancient thread anthropologist here...posting on the dead threads to most likely no one:

Once in a dentist office or somewhere, started reading a Kahil Gilbran book, or whatever his name is, an appropriate desert muse for our purposes, and he started with this tale:
Two young friends were forced to leave their home town and seek their fortunes in the greater world. Years later they meet up and one asks the other, "How did you fare, my friend?"
"Oh, I ended up in a wicked city, full of selfish people, where neighbors are suspicious of each other, everyone tries to screw everyone else, exploitation is the rule, children are beaten, meaness is everywhere!"
The other friend replies, " How awful! The city I found is made up of good people, where children are loved and nurtured, neighbors watch out for each other and help each other and opportunity abounds!"
Of course as they talk it turns out they live in the same city...

Isn't it great you disaffected ones don't have to return? As the teletubbies say, "Bye Bye!"

Uhoh, I posted at the bottom of a thread again, which of course is an entirely different one, please disregard this and all future posts by Rolan Headon, intuitive irrelevant anarchist...tho if you wish you can consider this an answer to any post declaring BRC now sucks
Was born late and falling ever further behind, will soon be in the lead.
