I have a dear friend who just retired from BATF.
He is even scared of FBI, in that, he says, how can you trust a bunch of frustrated lawyers with guns?..........
As with any group, I'm sure there's good and bad....I just wish politics and cronyism wasn't involved..........

Colin Powell, a republican, endorses Obama.
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008 ... -obama/?hp
"The McCain campaign’s top foreign policy aide is Randy Scheunemann, who was a foreign policy adviser to former Senators Trent Lott and Bob Dole and who has longtime ties to neoconservatives. In 2002, Mr. Scheunemann was a founder of the hawkish Committee for the Liberation of Iraq and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Iraqi exile and Pentagon favorite, Ahmad Chalabi, who was viewed with suspicion and distaste at the State Department when Mr. Powell was secretary of state."
Scheunemann is a jew and one of the many that were supportive of the Iraq war for the cause of Israel.
They want US to go to war with Iran.
Another good reason to vote for Obama!

More proof that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats, one party masquerading as two parties.

If you think that Colin is going to work for Obama, I don't so. He, like Hillary have too much baggage.
Was that your point?

What kind of baggage does Powell have? Is he married to Bill too?

McCains support of Obama (also CFR) will make election seem honest.

The plutocrats still have some folks convinced that their votes count and there is nothing to fear.

Is it possible that the reason Obama was picked to be the next president is to fullfill biblical prophecy for the fundamentalist christians pulling the puppet strings?
Will this man bring peace and act as the antichrist to bring jesus back?

Hey, you'll still be able to attend the Meet and Greet. The worst treatment we'd give you would be a Pie-In-Face!Kinetic V wrote:...while I like McCain / Palin, I have no choice but to vote for Obama.
Only kidding of course! Every playan is welcome and all political issues are taboo on the playa.
The health issue is taking a back stage to the economic issues which is taking a back stage to negative non-issue attacks and rebuttals. Lets hope that Obama's plan is heard by everyone that's been denied basic health insurance. Somehow I don't think I'll ever see McCain's plan come to fruition with his anti-socialists republican party. Only Obama with a democratic majority congress would be able to enact a plan. So this is more then just a electing a democratic president. We need to control congress as well.
But are you sure it wasn't just that guy over there:

Al Qaeda supports John McCain and fears an America with a president that has family with positive muslim ties!
As I said to Can't Sit Still when he repeated rumors that Obama is Muslim, too bad Obama wasn't muslim. It would show the Islamic world that the US is not controlled by Jews. it is controlled my Americans and someday will have a jew as president: hopefully after Israel divides Jerusalem to resolve its Palestinian problem. Maybe a Jewish president with a muslim VP or viceaversa would really show the world how great America is!

Bernanke Endorses Barack
Ben Bernanke apparently wants four more years as Federal Reserve Chairman. At least that's a reasonable conclusion after Mr. Bernanke all but submitted his job application to Barack Obama yesterday by endorsing the Democratic version of fiscal "stimulus."
While the Fed chief said any stimulus should be "well targeted," even a general endorsement amounts to a political green light. Mr. Bernanke certainly knows that Mr. Obama and Democrats on Capitol Hill are talking about some $300 billion in new "stimulus" spending, while President Bush and Republicans are resisting. And by saying any help should "limit longer-term effects" on the federal deficit, he had to know he was reinforcing Democratic opposition to permanent tax cuts.

Ya, and I understand that the voters have voted twice to keep term limits. How did the city council do an end run around that? I guess I should actually click on the link.Apollonaris Zeus wrote:No not the country, just NYCjkisha wrote:Why would we need a Jewish president? Don't they already own and run the country?![]()

McClellan Endorses Obama
Waiting, of course, until it's too late to have any effect on the election.

I think it's never too late; Obama needs all the help he can get in these final days; don't want to take the polls and his front-runner status for granted.Ugly Dougly wrote:McClellan Endorses Obama

It doesn't matter what party you are registered with for the general election--only primaries. So anyone can vote for either party.Ugly Dougly wrote:When is the last day people can switch parties?
After that, I guess it's just "get out the vote".

RFK endorses Barack:
- Robert F. Kennedy, Washington Post, May 27, 1968'There's no question about it,' the attorney general said. 'In the next 40 years a Negro can achieve the same position that my brother has.' ... Kennedy said that prejudice exists and probably will continue too ... 'But we have tried to make progress and we are making progress. We are not going to accept the status quo.'

Leading in US opinion polls over Republican rival John McCain, Obama received some added support in Kenya with special prayer sessions and even a victory prediction from a local witch doctor.

Fun article. Obama can use all the help he can get.
This election is being watched internationally by more people in more countries than any election since the invention of radio and tv or moveable type for that matter.
It truly is an historic event in every sense.
