heli needs a drink. Had a SAR today, 65 year old couple, knocked the shit outta their oil pan, tried to walk 50+ miles in 40 degree weather on a back country road that is closed, left their car at 4 am yesterday, spent the night out with no sleeping bags or a tent, heli found them at 2 pm today. I think they love me. Patron please and make it a double.

Good work, Dude. Hate to say it, but they appear not to have been thinking too awful clearly. But, then again, every situation is different. Sure hope they had water, layers of clothing, a sense of direction, etc. These things come in handy.
