How the fuck are people getting EA passes without having a ticket? I thought those passes were for camp members only to build the camp before the gate opens. Our camp only got a certain amount of EA passes and those only went to people that had tickets and promised to work our asses off to build the camp.

Found out while getting the oil changed on my truck last week
that the rear axle seals are leaking onto the brake shoes and
thats why the brakes dont feel right.
Called the dealer and the only day they could get it in
to work on is tomorrow and its going to be a most of the day deal
and $725 out of my checkbook that I hadnt planned on but it has to be done.
I was going to use all day tomorrow as the official "Pack the truck day"
but now thats going to be pushed until whenever I get the truck back instead.
Only good thing is Im pretty sure we only have half as much as we brought last year
so maybe it will go quicker.
Hope to leave wednesday morning as planned still though.

I'm leaving 3 kitties here at home with a friend I don't trust to tie his damn shoes for 2 weeks but he's all I got. At least he will be here at the house for the 2 weeks I'm gone.

2 kitties are 14 years old and kinda gimpy and I inherited them from my partner of 16 years when he passed away and they are all I have left of our life together.

My kitty is 7 years old and adores me. I mean she's laying here on my arm as I type this right now. In 7 years we've never been more than a day apart. I KNOW she's gonna spazz out when I'm gone for more than a few days and be a total mess by the time I get back.

My nightmare is a kitty refusing to eat and puking everywhere while she pines away all over the house looking for me and an older cat getting so stressed out by it all he/she keels over while I'm 2,000 miles away!

Once they get in there, it could be twice that much at a dealership.

I just had mine done and thought it would be just rear pads.

One drum flooded and raining parts as I watch them dismantle everything, so I had them pull the fronts too.

The only thing not broken were the bearings, and the drums and rotors were already 10,000 over.

I watched all the new parts go on as they rebuilt everything from the hubs outward.

$1300 and it wasn't a dealership!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the drivers side one done before the trip last year, wasnt impressed
with the place(not the dealer) that did it last and charged me way more
then the dealer is going to and not back their work!

I'm having the same problem. I find that I have too many thoughts about what I still need to do & what have I forgotten bouncing around. I'm usually happy with 5 hours of sleep but lately that's been wishful thinking. I'm at the point now where I'm packing Wed & Thur & whatever I don't have done will just have to wait for next year. I am really feeling fashion deficient since I have not had any time for that in the last few weeks. But I have to keep reminding myself that if I just take everything from last time all will be good. That seems to help.

Benadryl and the like don't make me drowsy. When I had a 1:1,000,000 reaction to the TDAP vaccine I got back in May or June I took four and didn't feel even a little drowsy, even after I was able to breathe without struggling and the adrenaline died down. I have a really weird constitution. Pain killers also do nothing for me (Vicodin and the like I was given post-op might as well have been sugar pills). Fucking sucks, some times.

$725 for axle seals and some brake pads? Shit that's not $100 worth of stuff. And it's an easy job!
God damn I'm glad I taught myself to turn a wrench! Axle seals are nothing but a little metal ring with a rubber liner. Dirt cheap. You just yank them off and tap new ones back on. Brake pads are cheap and super easy.
