Wow... those wea....
Heh... somebody left a bowl of Jack on the bar. Is it for me???
(Lap lap lap lap)
So anyways, like I was saying, those weaves are rockin’. I’m diggin’ them and the boots. Hey regynalonglank... you could always take the type of oddball/ludite/hermit-like route I would and search out an old treadle powered cobblers sewing machine. Then produce your own boots that would be even thrice cooler than those!!! (and that’s saying something) I saw one of those machines somewhere just the other day, actually. Hell of a needle of it too.

Oh, sushi... jeez, I still haven’t fill that craving I’ve been having for it... ahhh, maybe friday.
Yeah, mine was good. Sunday was pretty much a lay around day, which is kinda’ unusual for me. But all in all, it was much more good than bad. Went on a short hike last night... full moon and a small amount of snowfall making things very bright and crisp. Nice end to the day.

oh, but with the right equipment... this thing was a freakin’ work of art. Mechanical music. It used step pulleys to gear it down... slow, but very powerful and thick needle. My little fabric treadle sewed up the canvas topper for my truck without a problem. 10 layers of canvas in some places. You’d be surprised what those old machines can do.regynalonglank wrote:but sewing leather
