I'm simultaneously thrilled and terrified to be a villager, this year. Thankfully, Tamara is going to hold my hand the whole time and protect me from the meanies.

can't lie, bit o jealousy. not in the cards for me this year unfortunately :cry: came by bdv last year for the MnG super briefly, but got whisked away by a bumblebee and a giant panda/donkey thingy :lol:

Greetings, Barbie Death Campers...

I am a huge fan of Camp "Preserved in Time" -- this is a camp where a person can make a time capsule inside a sealed tin can. If I'm not mistaken, Preserved in Time was a part of Barbie Death Camp in years past (2009 and 2010).

Does anyone know if Preserved in Time will be on the playa this year?

You're thinking of Tracy and Janice, and they are part of Greeter's Camp and are already on the playa.

Speaking of which :wink: we're bringing our Teeter-Totter. Its roughly 16' long, and the pivot point/axle can either be roughly 36" or 48" off the ground. We call the 48" level "Super Sketch", cause you're at about a 40 degree angle. Its a blast!!!

I love teeter-totters. And you can burn that one, if you don't feel like taking it home.

I asked this in the DWD FB group, and I think I'll ask again here:

I'm going to need oh, 22 gallons of water. All bought in Reno.

If anybody has water containers to spare (and room to bring them!), so I can decrease the amount of plastic jugs from WalMart lying around, that'd be rad!

Blowphish and I are completely packed in our luxury RV. 8 bottles of absinthe, 288 cans of beer, wine, and a burrito. Yup, that should just about do it. See you tomorrow in the dust!

Oh, and eastbound I-80 at Donner Pass is at a complete standstill because of a sinkhole. Figures. I blame Larry Harvey. And the DPW.
