I'd love to come out of my shell this year, but will have to save it for 2012 when I will be a true Birgin...which kinda makes me wonder though...is a turtle with out it's shell nekkid or homeless? Or homelessly nekkid?

TPBM will DEFINITELY be buying their ticket EARLY in the game next year.

Of course we will buy early, if there is a way my sweetheart and I can pull off taking two weeks off from work again! The first thing we did once we decided to go in January, was buy our ticket.

TPBM ordered something from Hong Kong and is hoping it makes it to their home in time

Actually, I've given up all hope as they're now 2 months overdue even tho they've been verified as shipped. and I really REALLY wanted to fit those pinhole lenses into my goggles. Damn Canada Post these days!!! Most unreliable network EVER!!!

TPBM wants to take the day off of work to get a much more interesting project finished

No. Even as I march onwards to my grim fate of unpreparedness, I am suprizingly calm. Except about the bottom of the van scraping against speed bumps. That's pretty frightening.

TPBM is craving those tasty, tasty lead paint chips from his/her childhood.

Yep. 1 snack bag doritos, 1 pack ramen, one leftover burger. cook ramen with burger broken up in it, crush chips, mix in doritos bag and eat.

TPBM is horrified at that recipe.

Does one ever need a reason?

Very true, and it saddens me. Though I do what I can to let the "real me" out little by little in the default world.

Loved your response, Simon. May I quote you in my Sig?

No-- if you wait too long you might never get the chance. (Although it is not something to do lightly, I suppose.)

Damn, I'd LOVE to get out to the playa to do some soul searching-- it is a good place for that, isn't if?

While stuck driving for long periods of time. Often the 24 hr to and the 24 hours from BRC are great times to sit back and think.

TPBM knows that if they "plan" to soul search they will later be disappointed that they missed the opportunity while waiting for it.
