Funny thing I realized last year was that was more self conscious about my farmer tan than my spare tire.

A note of CAUTION to anyone who uses medical trans-dermal patches:

The skin where my patches have been seems to become EXTREMELY sensitive to sunlight. I currently sport several bright red little ovals that appear -- and hurt -- just like sunburn.

While we are on the subject, my doctor warned me that some regular medications -- that is, pills -- also make the skin more sensitive to sun.

(I'm posting this on two threads. I know, I know, cross-posting is frowned upon, but I want to reach as many as possible. Hopefully I can get away with it this once, in the name of public health service.)

I done did it. Did the naked pub crawl until the participants started getting really drunk by the 3rd stop. I don't have a problem with drunk people, but I'd rather converse with someone who's sober. The next day I shed my clothes in the deep playa and rode around for a bit feeling totally free and rocked out with an art car before the whiteout. I didn't feel self conscience all that much which surprised me. I'm starting to believe I can do anything!

That my have been my fault. An extra 4 cases of Champagne were accidentally served at Barbie Death Camp.

And to add my own experience for the first time, I got leid at the tiki bar and convinced two virgins to do so as well. My skirt did not stay off long, though. We all have our limits.

Elliot was wonderful nekkid, even decorative. Sunscreen worked despite medicinally induced sensitivity... He is a striking figure dressed or not. Very neat.

I made a few trip to the JOTS nekkid in the early mornings. Early in the week it felt weird. By Friday, I realized that nobody was looking at me and it was all OK. I don't know how I'd have reacted if someone from my camp saw me, but taking it slow is the way for me.

Then again, I did climb as high on Thunderdome as they'd let me in my kilt. For some reason, that didn't bother me at all.
