Oh hello *splash* happy to join you!

I have got all my presents wrapped and my last two cakes are out of the oven, whew, waiting patiently for ganache and sugar snowflakes. I am so happy to be done with all the prep and ready to play tomorrow with friends and family.

Where is that bubbly? Oh yeah

I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 5:30, regular day, then same again on Wednesday, Thurs. Fri. just one day off. I'm making a nice pot of soup right now, so my apartment smells nice.

So far as I'm concerned, Stan Mott does have a cult following, consisting of at least me! Actually, he has a large following, primarily in automotive circles, as he used to be an automobile designer, and automobile journalist and cartoonist. He was on the General Motors styling team that designed the 1959 Cadillac, and he only became wilder after that. He is supposed to have said that the iconic tail fins of the 1959 Cadillac was his attempt to turn a cartoon into a real automobile -- and he succeeded!

Yes, our team is mostly together again. And we do now begin the search for financial.
I go to Lichtenstein on tomorrow for celebration and to meet with hopful funders.
we now have former Soviet engineer perhaps to join team. Mentor is so very hopeful.

Morning, FJ & Ant M. Yeah, it was slippery, it was wet and it was fun and we missed you, Anti M. Ohhh cookies, MDF ... wish I were your neighbor. We could trade cookies for massage.

Poke my head in at the office today for a few minutes and have a tennis game later this morning. Got to give the courts a chance to dry. Probably a movie tonight. Ah, life on the fast track!

On Boxing Day I have a bunch of my kids and my grand kids coming by. At least 3 out of 4 of my 20+ grandsons and a 6 year old who will spend the day getting a pottery lesson from his Papa Marty. (Had my 7 year old grand daughter here yesterday playing with the clay.) We'll all have lunch together here. Nice gang of people. Three of these older grandsons have graduated from college and one is in his senior year at UCLA. The 6 year old is not yet in college, but plays the violin quite credibly and is a joy to have around. Xmas day, we'll likely go out to west Marin and walk amongst the Redwoods and have lunch somewhere out there. Maybe some fresh oysters.

So, kiddies, whatever you do on this holiday, you have my warmest wishes for a peaceful and healthful Holiday Season!

And, oh yes, HUGS all around!

lovely beginning , thank you Anti M and MDF and Marty and Gyre perfect
but tradition is ringing my bells as I scramble to complete all the darlings needs/wants as my Mother said
we used to go to St.Patrick's midnight service ..across the country from that now
Va Beach fam is getting the new puppy tonight ..wish I was there as it would be my fav along with 4 yr old grandchild
but I will try to be good (reasonably agreeable)with all my offspring and not shock Eu on Skype
