Re: i need my coffee !!!
Why not just bring a normal 12 cup coffee maker ?
At home that will keep me going until at least lunch time.

Because surprisingly few people as a percentage of population bring the requisite power grid with them for such a device.
French press is very popular otoh. A wee Camp stove and propane bottle can power that just fine.

Re: i need my coffee !!!
I got some of the Wolfgang Puck coffee pods and they have been a game changer for cold brew for me, such that I have gone back to cold brewing. I pop a couple of them into a quart nalgene bottle overnight and boom, I have three tall glasses of cold brew the next morning. Which can last me from 1 to 3 days depending upon how much coffee I feel like I need! Thinking of doing the same thing, popped into my cooler, at the burn. I like warm coffee in the chili mornings but some afternoon iced coffee delight sounds great.

Thank you. I always like to hear about coffee game changers. The WP brand is comforting for likely good taste. It is always good to have a too windy for a stove option (for all foods... try a whole day of only trail mix, and you'll know.) Overnight in a water bottle sounds easy. I've used a toddy system to make concentrate at home. It used a lot of ground coffee and was a mess for me to clean, for the actual volume returned. Trader Joes has sold a liquid concentrate that isn't bad.Strata wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 11:07 amI got some of the Wolfgang Puck coffee pods and they have been a game changer for cold brew for me, such that I have gone back to cold brewing.
