Thank you Mister Mischief! Took me a little while to figure out what you were talking about, but after a bit of color coding, we figured out that the dome is actually.......well......a soccer ball.

So, all we need are 10 full hexagons, 5 half hexagons (All Cs), and 5 pentagons (As). The only issue I see is that we have to acount for the "roundness" of the dome, so the pieces have to be slightly bigger. We need to figure out some sort of a formula for that.

The other issue is that since it's a 5/8s dome, the widest part is not the bottom, but rather the first layer.... We need to becareful so the cover fits over the widest part, as the widest part of the cover will be the bottom.

I think we have the doorway and the process for lifting the cover to make more open space for ventilation as well.

AND, I think I may have found a bunch of *free* military tent canvas. *taps fingers* eeeexxxceeeeelllllleeeennnnnt.

If you have power and a box fan, make a velcro vent hole in the top of your cover and mount the box fan with zip ties to the top of the dome (make sure it is exhausting hot air out of the top) If the weather gets bad , just close the vent. It really helps pull cool air in from the bottom. :)
Imagine of you will ............ round squares..... Not spherical cubes.............But round squares.
