I must say, I sense inaccuracy here... The camp across the street from us got a green rating while we got yellow, and I know for a fact they left a dirty area behind. Plus, the large open space behind us in the middle of the block that was completely unoccupied got yellow as well, when there was nothing there-no people, no camps, no thru-way, no moop.

-Grumble-
M*A*S*H 4207th: An army of fun.
I don't care what the borg says: feather-wearers will NOT be served in Rosie's Bar.
When I ask how many burns, I mean at BRC.

Thus, the winking emoticon by that comment. Also same emoticon by the earlier comment about wind-blown MOOP.

What we plan to do this year is to pee in the evaporation ponds so we can legitimately dump our several hundred gallons in the porta-potties! What we can't dispose of that way we will dump, daily, around our neighbors' camps for dust abatement. I am sure that this will be appreciated and lead to some wonderful interactions with those in our vicinity. Another way we plan to reduce grey water is to use Army surplus urine filtration devices. This will allow us to arrive on the Playa with absolutely no water at all. We will be self-sufficient by relying exclusively on ice-sales at Arctica, then drinking our bacon-tainted cooler-melt, then, through use of the filtration devices, drink our own urine. These used filtration devices work perfectly, except, no matter how much washing and cleansing the end product tastes a lot like Zima!

Louise and I have always taken our gray water and urine jugs over to the Earth Guardian's camp site for emptying. Nary a complaint from them, as far as I can tell.
