FF 2.0+ has spell check as well. I'm going to try out seamonkey, but what are some things you prefer about it over other browsers?

I use FF, adblock plus and fliterset G and I'm loving the lack of ads. I originally went to firefox because of all the crappy IE malware and tabbed browsing and haven't gone back.
I have not tried any of those yet. Links would be nice, but what I like about seamonkey is, it works with all websites with no problem.
For a beta it's pretty dam awesome.
Comes complete with a mail client, spell checker, addybook, and irc. Straight forward. Plus the other plug ins for it from Google and all. Not too shabby.Better than Firefox. even the standard Mozilla which it actually is on steroids.

I should mention that sea monkey is Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape on steroids and blows IE out the water. Blows them all out the water so far as I can see.
Right now as I do this, I'm using it on win server 2008, OSX and Linux.
Sweet at all ends and consistent. None of the others including IE and firefox can do that.

I was trying it out and ads make me cry now when I know I can avoid them. I was used to them but it's so nice not having them. The main thing is the crappy pop up flash ones. Argh! I haven't seen one of those in a while now.

You need firefox 2.x for these plugins i believe.

Adblock plus

Not on this site but others. Myspace used to be horrid (don't know if it still is). Tribe has quite a few ads. Lots of others. I didn't really notice until they were gone, then came back.

STOP

that's a fox place.

It's to be expected.

Plus you should have a clean system before you install the browser.

That's understandable.

And tribe ads??????????

We ignore them for the most part.

Too many worry about the free speech there right now.

The only protection is a system done from scratch.

you just need to find a snarky woman - then you guys could argue until yout too tired to argue, or join forces and harp on others like a fully automatic tag team snark machine.

Maybe you haven't found the right one yet. (All this makes me realize how lucky I am to have got it right the first time around!)
