One of my old friends use to drive his backhoe drunk all the time and he kept an AK47 bungee corded to the back window, he was usually clothed though. I'll present you guy's suggestion for nude empowerment to him.

Putting your phone number leaves the door open for people to call you about unrelated issues or because they don't understand your post was from the previous year. I've gotten calls from people who saw a months-old ad on freecycle and didn't understand that the post remains even after the item is gone. We should probably just wipe out the whole rideshare and ticket sections after the event to avoid that. The posts may hang around on Google for some time even if we do that, though.

Personally, I'd rather be able to manage things through PM and only give my number out to those who I want calling me. I guess it's a bit of a personal decision - whether you don't mind the risk of your phone number being available for pranks or confused people.
Good idea. Its easy enough to find phone numbers and email addresses (never as easy as the phone book), especially with web crawlers scavenging for them.

I don't like the phone and don't want repesentatives from my long-lost uncle's estate calling me about a photogaphy position to photograph the princess's wedding ceremony in Nigeria. Or to find someone is posting fake sex ads on Craigslist saying to call my number.

That never happened to me because I don't post my number anywhere.

I do have my number on my business cards and received a hilarious prank from a kid late one night. It wasn't funny until I wok up the next morning and thought about it.

Everything on the Intertubes is true and stays there for-fucking-ever. Google is adept at finding all of it.

Actually, the old rideshare posts don't stay here forever. I wait a year or so and delete most of them. I do leave the ones which turn into hilarious snarkfests, or have some type of solid advice embedded in the conversation.

This forum dropped from 25 pages to 16 when I waded in recently.
