It was the dusty windy year 2001. No, they didn't. Heavy burnt orange velvet. Too soft to do damage even impregnated with playa dust, I guess.

We still have them and use them now and then. MyLarry hung one in his truck cab for insulation between the bunk and the seats when he was driving OTR in winter.
