And yeah, I agree with Karma on the bringing an ex thing. I did that my first year with someone who I had been with for two years, and it definitely made for numerous bummers throughout the whole event. It worked out, though, because by the end of the week I had finally gotten shit straightened out in my head and things have been going nowhere but up since.
Thanks for the input! I'm glad I'll have the opportunity to experience my 1st burn "untethered." It would have been really hard with her or anyone for that matter. I was never good at showing her attention in large social settings. I am naturally a very introverted, somewhat antisocial being but when I'm placed in a large group, a monster comes out and I jump from one conversation to another. That prospect alone is enough to bring me to BM.
