Yo, WD, them there parallel lines, are those from some sort of grooming machine? I hate to see the virgin surface of the playa despoiled in such a manner before the throngs actually arrive and do in en masse.

10 day forecasts from weather.com for Gerlach say Highs in the low 90s and Lows in the low 60s, with clear skies. Winds are supposed to be light - moderate ranging from 5 to 15mph. Though winds will likely be faster on the playa.

My guess is if the high pressure system thats moving over the western U.S. is strong and stays put, it should remain warm with light easterly winds. If a low develops over the pacific and nudges the high east, then the wind should shift out of the W/SW and be sronger creating possible whiteouts.

The ten o'clock road is one of the main routes from the org's ranch NW of the site, where they build the Man and shit.

Maybe they should use zeppelins.
