I just got the same reply from Lara Salahi.

I'm hoping I hear back from Dr. Prezant.. At this point, writing back is almost surely a waste of his time. I have a guess what he will say if he does write back.

If this is a bust, I'll see if the whole thread can be deleted. No sense spreading more misinformation.

If the story is a hoax, I'm guessing that Burning Man's lawyers might want to investigate.

Regarding the information I posted, I'm not refuting or defending the information. It is what it is.

Fair enough. As a rule of thumb though I take a very skeptical approach to any any news article that continually references one source or one 'expert.'

Such pieces are usually tainted with more than a small whiff of 'agenda' on them.
